Embedded and application developers − learning from each other

Evidence of software's growing importance is everywhere: from industrial devices to those in the home, products and processes increasingly rely on software for controlling operations and introducing new features to differentiate them from the competition.

This trend is having a major impact on software development, with embedded systems now combining traditional device-level software with application code.
